Your Day Master tells you what kind of self sits at the center of the chart. The Ten Gods tell you how every other element relates to that self. Put them together and BaZi stops being an abstract element grid. It becomes a map of relationships: allies, rivals, output, wealth, authority, pressure, knowledge, and support.
This series looks at every Day Master and every Ten God combination. A Bi Jian pattern does not feel the same for Jia Wood as it does for Xin Metal. Zheng Cai does not express the same way through Ren Water as it does through Ding Fire. The name of the Ten God gives the role; the Day Master gives the texture.
